DNI SENIORS - Photographers for Everett & Beyond

We are looking for short stories written by HS students from Snohomish County or North King County, to turn into short little movies.

Some guidelines before submitting:

Not religious or political.
No swearing. We will edit the story if necessary.
No sci-fi or "period" stories. Props or costumes become an issue.
No exotic locations. Property release not needed
Actors can be juniors or less. If adults, should be related to students involved (simplifies legal issues).
We will write the screenplay, supply music, and sound effects if needed.
Once completed we will register the production with the Writers Guild of America.
Rule of Thumb: 1 page of dialog = 1 minute of screen time
Looking to keep length at about 5 minutes
Can even be a single funny family event
This "movie" is only 1:41 minutes long
Let's keep is safe. No crazy stunts.
Want to start production in the fall
Not expecting students to "write a movie", just submit a story

This is a totally artistic endeavor. It will always remain YOUR story.

BTW we are also looking for a grade school age boy (9-12) that plays the piano for a little movie we want to do. If you know someone that fits the bill, have his parents contact us.
